WORKSHOP GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER AND PHOTO RELEASE FORM

Before participating in a workshop, please read the following agreement carefully. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks associated with participating in a hands-on woodworking workshop and agree to follow all workshop guidelines and instructor directions.

1. Acknowledgement of Risks

I, the undersigned participant (or parent/guardian, if applicable), acknowledge and understand that participation in this workshop will involve the use of tools and equipment, which can include hand tools, adhesives, clamps, and, in some workshops, power tools including but not limited to impact drivers, orbital sanders, drill presses, nail guns or jigsaws.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with this workshop, including those arising from my own actions or negligence, the actions of others, or equipment malfunction.

2. Safety Guidelines and Instructions

I agree to follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and procedures provided by the instructors and facilitators. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Wearing appropriate protective gear when required (e.g., safety glasses).
• Using tools and materials only as instructed.
• Communicating with an instructor immediately if I feel unsafe or unsure at any time.

I understand that failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the workshop without refund.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this workshop, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Rachelle Tessier (Project Pine Designs) and Rona+, its employees, instructors, volunteers, agents, and all other associated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, including but not limited to injury, loss, or damage to person or property, arising out of or in any way related to my participation in this workshop, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rachelle Tessier (Project Pine Designs) and Rona+, it’s employees, instructors, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, or damages (including legal fees) resulting from my participation in the workshop, including any injury, death, or damage to property.

By completing the form below you confirm that:

• I have read and understood this agreement.
• I have had the opportunity to ask questions about the workshop and its activities.
• I understand that woodworking and hands-on workshop activities involve inherent risks.
• I agree to follow all workshop safety guidelines and instructor directions.
• I understand that I am responsible for acting safely and responsibly.
• I voluntarily choose to participate in the workshop.
• I understand and accept the terms of this agreement to the fullest extent permitted by law.
