Learn how to create a 22" picture ledge in this DIY workshop led by Rachelle from Project Pine Designs at Rona+.

This exclusive, women-only workshop* provides step-by-step instructions and is geared towards beginners who want to learn how to use power tools for the first time or just want to make something cute!

Workshop Highlights

Note: All wood will be pre-cut. There will be no use of saws during this beginner session. A general liability waiver is required for participation & participants must be 18+ years of age.

Refund Policy: Workshop fees are non-refundable, however please contact hello@projectpine.ca at least 48 hrs in advance if would like to transfer registration to another person. No-shows are not eligible for a refund. If you are more than 20 minutes late, it may not be possible to participate in the workshop for safety reasons. A general liability waiver is required for participation & participants must be 18+ years of age.

*This workshop is intended to create a supportive space for those who identify as women. Cis and transgender women, as well as non-binary and gender-diverse individuals who feel most comfortable in a women-centered environment are welcome.

This was my first workshop and it won’t be my last!

I really enjoyed the workshop! The instructions were easy to follow and every step was well paced for learning. Very well planned and the group size was perfect!

Terrific class - as always

I have now taken several classes with Rachelle and every one of them has been wonderful. Great experience, lots of fun all while learning. She is amazingly patient with newcomers so absolutely no experience is needed. Classes are always interesting and you get to take home great projects at the end of it all. Consistently excellent value for the cost. Highly Recommend.

Worthwhile and Fun!

I recently heard of Project Pine Designs from a CBC radio interview (link: https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-98-in-town-and-out/clip/16176246-power-tool-workshops-women ) and I was intrigued.
So, I signed up for the picture ledge workshop and was impressed. The workshop was most informative and made for an entertaining morning. I learned a lot and built confidence using a power tool I knew nothing about (the impact driver).
Rachelle provides a great presentation; she is friendly, organized, ready to answer any question you may have and rounds out the workshop with supplementary information.
I look forward to doing another workshop soon!

So much fun!

This workshop was so much fun! Everything was so well thought through: the location, the duration, the stations, the content, the inclusions, the vibe, simply all of it. Rachelle is always making sure that everyone feels included and it was so easy to learn how to use the tools with her tips and tricks. I really enjoyed how tailored this experience was. Really worth it and I can't wait for the next one.
