DIY Power Tool Workshops for Women

Join Rachelle Tessier, founder of Project Pine Designs, for an inspiring women-only, judgment-free workshop series at RONA+ Kanata!

At each workshop, you'll get hands-on experience with power tools and complete your very own project to take home. Every session includes step-by-step guidance, all materials, and all tools provided.

Why These Workshops Are Special:

  • A welcoming, supportive space just for women
  • No judgment, no pressure, just encouragement and fun
  • Learn real skills that build your confidence, one project at a time
  • Make new connections with a like-minded community of makers.

All workshops are classified by experience level required: Toolbelt Newbie (Beginner), Sawdust Enthusiast (Intermediate),  Carpentry Queen (Advanced).

At this time, participants must be 16+ years of age. Have a daughter under 16? Rachelle is available to visit Girl Guide groups to chat all things power tools and do a show-and-tell to bridge the gap until they can do some hands projects.

Upcoming Workshop Dates:

Spots are limited and fill quickly! Each workshop is limited to 8-10 participants to ensure 1-1 support. Advance registration is required.

    .

Private Workshops:

Looking for a different date or want to come with your own group (like a bachelorette party!!)? Private workshops are available! A minimum of 6 registrants are required and we can set up a time exclusively for your group during the weekday or evening! Please send an email to hello@projectpine.ca
