Private DIY Workshops in Ottawa
Looking to book a different date or bring your own group together? Private workshops are a fun and empowering way to connect, learn new skills, and create. Think paint night, but with power tools!
Whether you're celebrating something special or simply want a creative activity, private group workshops are created to fit your schedule. Weekdays, evenings, and select weekends are available with a minimum of 6 participants. All workshops are hosted at Rona+ locations across Ottawa. You choose the store that’s closest and I’ll come to you!

Projects:
Choose from a variety of beginner-friendly DIY projects such as plant stands, picture ledges, shelves, and cookbook stands. If there is something you have in mind, just let me know!
Details:
- Pricing starts at $60 per person (exact rate depends on the chosen project) and includes all materials, instruction, and tool use
- Workshops typically run 2 to 2.5 hours
- Participants must be 18+
About Your Instructor
Rachelle Tessier, founder of Project Pine Designs, has been a woodworker and DIYer for over 10 years. Her mission is to help women feel confident, capable, and at home using power tools no matter their experience level.
These workshops are rooted in community, creativity, and empowerment and they’re designed to give you the skills (and confidence) to build long after the session ends.
