Done a few DIY's around the house and feel comfortable around power tools? This could be the opportunity for you!
Role:
- Helping set up workshop space (prepping workstations)
- Ongoing participant support (fielding questions, etc)
- Content capturing (taking photos, videos)
- In-store supply runner during workshop
Requirements:
Experience and confidence using, at minimum, the impact driver and orbital sander. Priority will be given to those who have attended a Project Pine workshop before.
Compensation:
$20 an hour* (Guaranteed $60 minimum) OR $125 credit to attend any Fall 2026 workshops as a participant (applicants choice)
Availability:
All workshops are held on weekends at Rona+ Kanata/Stittsville. Hours Required: 9am-1pm (approx). Applicants must be available for at least 2 dates in order to be considered.
*This is a freelance role. An invoice, provided by the workshop assistant, will be required if cash/EMT payment compensation is selected.
Fall Workshop Dates TBD (but will only be on the weekends).
