DIY Workshop: Picture Ledge
Learn how to create a 22" picture ledge in this DIY workshop led by Rachelle from Project Pine Designs at Rona+.
This exclusive, women-only event provides step-by-step instructions and is geared towards beginners who want to learn how to use power tools for the first time or just want to make something cute!

What's Included:
All supplies and materials required to make and hang your own 22" picture ledge, plus we'll be staining on site! You'll have your choice of 5 stain options + a take home sample of clear coat varnish. You'll also get a $15 Rona+ Gift Card!
Note: All wood will be pre-cut. There will be no use of saws during this beginner session. You will learn how to use an impact driver and orbital sander and will be given safety instructions and general tips and tricks about woodworking throughout the session. A general liability waiver is required for participation & participants must be 16+ years of age.
Refund Policy: Workshop fees are non-refundable, however please contact hello@projectpine.ca at least 48 hrs in advance if would like to transfer registration to another person.
This workshop is intended to create a supportive space for those who identify as women. Cis and transgender women, as well as non-binary and gender-diverse individuals who feel most comfortable in a women-centered environment are welcome.

This workshop was so much fun! Everything was so well thought through: the location, the duration, the stations, the content, the inclusions, the vibe, simply all of it. Rachelle is always making sure that everyone feels included and it was so easy to learn how to use the tools with her tips and tricks. I really enjoyed how tailored this experience was. I had such a great time making a picture ledge with Rachelle from Project Pine Designs! The stations were perfectly set up with everything we needed, and Rachelle truly thought of every detail - even bottled water was provided (we worked so hard! lol). She walked us through each step, demonstrated how to safely use the tools (hello, impact driver and sander!), and we even got to choose our own stain. It was fun, hands-on, and empowering and now I have a beautiful shelf I’m excited to hang in my home. Highly recommend this workshop experience!
