International Women's Day: DIY Workshop for Girls

Celebrate International Women’s Day by building, creating, and empowering the future generation of woodworkers in this workshop designed exclusively for girls (ages 10+) and their mothers/grandmothers/aunties/role models.

Please note:

• Each pair will work together throughout the session.
• Girls under the age of 18 MUST attend with their mother or female guardian who must remain present for the full duration of the workshop.
• A single registration is required for each pair who will make one cookbook stand together.

Workshop Highlights

• Learn essential DIY skills: Building, sanding, and staining
• Duration: 2 hours of hands-on fun
• Where & When: RONA+ Kanata

What’s Included

• All materials and supplies
• Guided instruction on how to sand, use wood glue, and wood clamps. There is no use of power tools during this workshop.
• Your choice of 5 SamaN stain options (water-based stain) or any Sico paint colour
• A $10 RONA+ Gift Card to take home

Refund Policy: Workshop fees are non-refundable, however please contact hello@projectpine.ca at least 48 hrs in advance if would like to transfer registration to another person. No-shows are not eligible for a refund. If you are more than 20 minutes late, it may not be possible to participate in the workshop for safety reasons.
