DIY Workshop: Intro to the Jigsaw - Coming Soon!

In this women's only workshop* you'll be introduced to the Jigsaw (my personal fav of all the saws!) because of how safe and approachable it is to use... and as a bonus it's the only one that allows you to cut curves!

The focus of this workshop will be on the fundamentals of using the jigsaw safely while making an abstract floating shelf. Participants will come out of this workshop with a totally one-of-a-kind piece. This workshop is not about perfection, but about learning the basics that build your confidence to continue making!

Workshop Highlights

• Duration: Up to 3 hours of hands-on fun
• Where: RONA+ Kanata/Stittsville
• Class Size: Maximum 6 people

What’s Included

• All materials and supplies for a 16" x 16" shelf. You create your own shape and we’ll trace it onto the wood to cut out! Upgrades available for shelves larger than 16” x 16”.
• Guided instruction on using a jigsaw, orbital sander, and drill press (Value: Priceless!)
• Your choice of ANY Sico paint colour selected in advance with THIS colour selector OR your choice of 5 SamaN stain options + a take home sample of clear coat varnish.

• A $10 RONA+ Gift Card to take home

Refund Policy: Workshop fees are non-refundable, however please contact hello@projectpine.ca at least 48 hrs in advance if would like to transfer your registration to a friend for the same workshop date.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund. If you are more than 20 minutes late, it may not be possible to participate in the workshop for safety reasons. A general liability waiver is required for participation & participants must be 18+ years of age.

*This workshop is intended to create a supportive space for those who identify as women. Cis and transgender women, as well as non-binary and gender-diverse individuals are welcome.
